Walking boots and wet outer clothing
Walking is one of the attractive features of this area: however, depending on the conditions, walking boots and outer clothing can get quite wet. We are happy for you to put them in the utility room to dry out.
Telephones
Mobile phone reception is very patchy throughout Ebrington and you may have to stand in the front garden to make a call.
Local shops
The nearest shops are in Chipping Campden which is two miles away. We can provide most emergency supplies such as toothpaste or razors upon request.
You can normally buy fresh free-range eggs from 'The Washbrook' which is about 400 yards along the road leading towards Shipston. In addition, Drinkwaters Farm, opposite The Washbrook, supplies all the local stores, pubs and restaurants in the area whilst also making their produce available to both villagers and visitors. Well worth a visit to stock up before you head off home!
Pets
Because we have our own animals, we are very sorry that we cannot accommodate pets, although we will make special arrangements for guide dogs.
